教学内容:Story time

教学目标:

1. 在情景中整体理解Story time的内容。

2. Story time 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow,体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法,并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

3. 能用正确的语音语调朗读Story time

4. 能理解道路安全知识,尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

5. 能牢记过马路的交通规则,树立安全意识。

教学重点:

1. 能理解道路安全知识,尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

2. Story time 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, followmustsafetysafely

教学难点:

1. 体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法,并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

2. 能牢记过马路的交通规则,树立安全意识。

教学过程:

Step 1 Pre-reading

1. Free talk

T: How do you go to school?  How does your mother\father go to work?

S: On foot or by bike\bus\car

T: 总结 : Every day, we walk or drive on the road.

There are many busy roads in the city.

2.  Look at some pictures. (看一些江阴的道路及违反交通规则的图片)

Step 2 While-reading Story time

一、整体呈现课文

1.揭题

T: What should we do to stop them?

We can make a poster. What’s the topic?

Listen and choose. 学习safetyRoad safety

2. 学习safesafely ,cross

What should we do to keep safe on the road?

How can you cross the roads safety?

3. T: How can you cross the roads ? Do you have any suggestions?

S: 学生根据已有经验说一说。

二、学习课文第一部分

T: On the poster, I want to write some rules.

What’s the first rule?

1.Watch and choose(选择图片)

学习a zebra crossing , Red man. Green man, traffic lights.

2.Read and choose(选择正确词组)

3.What is the green man? What is the red man?

The policeman will tell you.

When the light is red, that means you mustn’t cross the roads.

学习must not Read and act

When the light is green? What does the policeman say?

Read and act

That is to say: Red man means “stop”. Green man means “go”.

What about the yellow man?

三、学习课文第二部分

T: Sometimeswe can find a zebra crossing. But sometimes you cannot find a zebra crossing near you. How can we cross the road safely?

小组合作学习(将句条打乱顺序放进信封,根据自己的理解进行排序并贴在卡纸上。)

T: Why should we cross the roads with other people?

S: Because the drivers can see you easily.

T:Do you know how to cross the road now?

Play a turntable game

学生选择图片判断,并用We must/ We mustn’t…描述。

Eg: Some boys are playing football by the road. A boy is skating\running on the road.

Why?

五、整理理解,巩固

1.T: Can you give me a key sentence about the poster.

2.Read the text.

Step 3 Post-reading

1. T: Just now we made some posters. From the posters, we know some rules about “Road safety”.

Let’s sum up.(板书)

Rule1: look for a zebra crossing,…

Rule2: wait on the pavement,…

Rule3: don’t run or play on the road.

T: I have more rules. 看图片说规则。

3. T: Do you have any other rules?

学生小组合作书写规则

→主题:Traffic safety is everyone’s business.

1. Read the story time fluently Read well .

2. Complete the notes on P39.

3. Collect more rules about “Road Safety.”

教学点评:

纵观李老师执教的《Road safety,感觉教学设计比较巧妙,前后衔接自然,教学内容层层推进,整堂课在轻松、和谐的气氛中进行,使学生学得轻松、学得放松,并取得了良好的教学效果。这堂课注重了以下几个方面:

1. 重点突出,教学细化

整节课紧紧围绕道路安全设计各个环节,以制作海报为主线,将课文分成三个层次,学习不同的交通规则,各个环节的教学深入自然地展开。首先,李老师通过观看我们身边违反交通规则的图片,引出课题,激发学生设计道路规则的兴趣。在重难点的处理上细致扎实,如在教学第一个规则时对safesafely的运用,对三个动词词组的把握运用等等。在交通信号灯的教学上,形式新颖,能让学生动静结合,进行教学,不仅激发了学生的学习兴趣,而且学生更容易理解和掌握,教学效果较好。教学第二个规则时,李老师完全放手让学生进行小组合作学习,将第二个规则的句条打乱顺序放进信封,学生根据自己的理解进行排序并将句条贴在卡纸上。这个环节的教学效果非常好,学生在合作的过程中互帮互助,理解掌握新单词、新句型,不仅体验到了通过自己思考而习得新知的喜悦,更增长了他们综合运用语言的能力,这完全符合了“三力”课堂所倡导的教学理念。第三个规则的教学结合了课文后面的练习题,并以转盘游戏的形式呈现,真正做到了寓教于乐,让学生产生继续学习的动力,让课堂真正活跃起来。

2、创设情境 教学联系实际

语言是交际交流的工具。李老师通过创设情境学习,并结合具体的生活实际通过多种形式的对话操练,培养了学生的口头表达能力。另外,本堂课李老师很好地运用了图片教学资源,从图片导入,用图片帮助理解课文,再到最后的以图片收尾,一气呵成,教学的重难点也层层推进,学生学起来比较轻松自如。

纵观整节课,李老师的教学节奏明快,重难点突出,学生也比较会说,但对于部分单词和短语的朗读上,少部分学生可能还是把握不准,在教学不同的规则时,我觉得可适当放慢脚步,让学生多读一读,教学效果会更好!
